Set between the West Bank and Israel, the film follows 12-year-old Khaled, whose dream of seeing the sea, despite living only an hour away from it, becomes an odyssey through checkpoints, borders and invisible barriers. When the boy suddenly disappears in his attempt to reach the coast, his father embarks on a desperate search that puts both his livelihood and his own safety at risk.
