In the quiet hum of an MRI machine, Rosa is asked to summon a happy memory. On a journey through her subconscious, she revisits the past and reconstructs an episode she never lived: a crossing with her mother, Dalva, a free-spirited and irreverent woman who was once arrested for killing a man who was about to commit femicide. Having grown up without her mother, Rosa carries guilt and fear tied to this story. Now, suspended between life and an invented memory, she imagines a reunion that becomes an attempt at healing and reconciliation. Presented at the Berlin International Film Festival.
