A filmmaker who graduated in directing from the International School of Film and TV (EICTV), in Cuba. She studied film industry management at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, in Spain, and holds a degree in journalism from the Federal University of Ceará. She wrote and directed the short films “Los Minutos, Las Horas” (2009), presented at the Cinéfondation of the Cannes Film Festival and awarded at the Clermont-Ferrand, San Sebastián, and Havana film festivals, and “Madrid” (2012). “I Built a Rocket Imagining Your Arrival” is her first feature film.
