A girl suffers from a terrible sickness of both body and mind. As love takes root within her heart, a remarkable journey of healing begins. The once frail girl now stands on her own two feet, at last discovering a deep desire within herself—a dangerous energy. However, once someone has risen back up, they cannot be stopped. Intricate relationships intertwine, conflict intensifies, and she arrives at an ultimate decision. Through this process, the merciless faces of love and hatred, as well as the radiant moments of captivation, come to shine. Presented in the Quinzaine des Cinéastes section at the Cannes Film Festival.
