A South Korean director, she studied film at the Korea National University of Arts. She directed the feature films “A Girl at My Door” (2014), screened in the Un Certain Regard section of the Cannes Film Festival, and “Next Sohee” (2022), presented at the Critics’ Week, Cannes, and awarded Best Director at the Fantasia Film Festival and Best Film at the Pingyao Film Festival.
