Paula and La Maestra, two sixteen-year-old friends, are inseparable and the strongest swimmers on their team, training for the Junior Pan American Championship. Their routine changes at a party, when Paula ends up alone with Daniel, her longtime crush. Amid music and drinks, the two slip into the bathroom together. In the following days, La Maestra senses a deep sadness and distance in her friend. After much insistence, Paula finally reveals what happened that night. As they try to name the experience, what they find feels devastating. The trauma puts their bond to the test: while Paula needs time to deal with the silence, La Maestra feels compelled to act. Consumed by fear, guilt, and anger, they move toward a decision that will redefine the future of their friendship and who they are. Winner of the Crystal Bear for Best Film in the Generation 14plus section at the Berlin International Film Festival.
