Xilacatzin, a young Mexica warrior from Tlatelolco who bears the mysterious and cursed mark of the jaguar, is falsely accused by the goddess Itzpapalotl of stealing sacred bones. To save his people before darkness devours the sun, he must descend into Mictlan, the world of the dead, alongside his allies to recover the relic.
