In the House on the Moon live Chang Er, a celestial maiden, and her lover, the great sun-shooting archer, Hou Yi. When Hou Yi goes missing on his quest to save the dying sun, Chang Er and an astronaut from Earth must embark on a journey to the dark side of the moon to find her lover.
