Born in 1981, he is a Danish-Turkish artist and filmmaker based in Berlin and Amsterdam. He studied fine arts at the Funen Art Academy and Städelschule, in Frankfurt, and was a resident artist at the Rijksakademie van Beeldende Kunsten in Amsterdam. Over the years, Eroglu has developed his artistic practice through comprehensive installations that include videos, texts and sculptures. His work has been presented at major international film festivals, museums, and cultural institutions, including CPH:DOX, Stedelijk Museum, MAXXI, MMK, and Sharjah Art Foundation. “The Shipwrecked Triptych” is his first feature film.
