Lola is a lonely 16-year-old girl marked by the mysterious absence of her father. A swimmer who, despite her collection of medals, cannot swim the butterfly stroke. Her relationship with her mother is difficult, and after an argument, she will spend her vacation alone in Salto Bonito. Lola falls in love, makes new friends, and joins the town’s struggling swim team. Now, whenever she is in the water, new emotions stir up memories of the past. On the eve of a major championship, Lola finds herself facing the challenge of confronting fears and traumas she never imagined, including the truth about her father. The film is an adaptation of the book “Medley ou os Dias em que Aprendi a Voar”, by Keka Reis.
