Born in Pernambuco in 1984. He began his artistic career in theater and later studied at the International School of Film and TV (EICTV), in San Antonio de los Baños, Cuba. He was an associate producer on award-winning features such as “Bacurau” (2019) and “Neon Bull” (2015, 39th Mostra). He directed the short film “Urânio Picuí” (2012) and the feature film “Azougue Nazaré” (2018), presented at the 42nd Mostra and winner of the best film award in the Bright Future section at the International Film Festival Rotterdam. “Yellow Cake” is his second fiction film.
