Brazilian filmmaker, director, screenwriter, producer, and cinematographer who moves between fiction and documentary. He studied cinematography and dramaturgy at Cinecittà, in Rome, in the 1990s. He has directed several feature films, such as “Soluços e Soluções” (2000, 24th Mostra), “Zagati” (2002, 26th Mostra), and “Musicagen” (2005, 29th Mostra), all three co-directed with Nereu Cerdeira; as well as “Inversion” (2009, 33rd Mostra), “Insubordinate” (2013, 38th Mostra), “Toro” (2016), and “Crackland” (2020, 44th Mostra). His films have been awarded at several national and international festivals.
