Chilean filmmaker and visual artist. Her photography and video works have been exhibited at Tate Modern and the Venice Art Biennale. She directed the feature films “Thursday till Sunday” (2012), winner of the Tiger Award for Best Film at the Rotterdam Film Festival; and “Too Late to Die Young” (2018), screened at the 42nd Mostra and winner of the best director award at the Locarno Film Festival. She also directed short and mid-length films, including “Mar” (2014); “Los Barcos” (2015); “Correspondence” (2020), co-directed with Carla Simón; a segment of the film “The Year of the Everlasting Storm” (2021); and “Limpia” (2025), screened at festivals like Berlin, Cannes and San Sebastián.
