

Born in Lithuania in 1985. Andrius Blaževičius studied Cultural History and Anthropology at Vilnius University and Film Directing at the Lithuanian National Film School. His debut feature film, “The Saint” (2016), presented at festivals such as Warsaw and Busan, became one of the most successful independent films at his country’s box office. He then directed “Runner” (2021), presented at the Karlovy Vary Film Festival and awarded by the Lithuanian Film Academy.
