

A Danish filmmaker, Andreas Dalsgaard holds a degree in anthropology from Aarhus University and in visual anthropology from Paris Diderot University, before studying directing at the National Film School of Denmark. He made his directing debut with the documentary “Afghan Muscles” (2007) and also directed “Cities on Speed: Bogotá Change” (2009), “The Human Scale” (2012), “Travelling with Mr. T” (2012), “Life Is Sacred” (2015) and “The Great Game” (2018). With Obaidah Zytoon, he co-directed “The War Show” (2016), winner of the Venice Days Award at the Venice Film Festival. He is also the founder of the production company Elk Film.
