A portrait of one of Brazil’s greatest actresses, centered on what is inseparable from her: her craft. The documentary follows Fernanda Montenegro in her most recent work in film and theater and, from there, looks back to the past to show the development of a great actress over time. Directed by Pedro Waddington, son of director Andrucha Waddington and Fernanda’s son-in-law, the film uses family relationships as part of the plot, capturing intimate moments of the actress behind the scenes and revealing previously unseen footage of family collaborations, such as the film “The House of Sand”, in which Fernanda co-stars with her daughter, Fernanda Torres.
