Toprak, an unemployed aspiring writer and video-game addict, is making plans to escape an increasingly bleak future in Turkey. Meanwhile, her mother Suzan tries to live out her unfulfilled dreams through her daughter; and her father Melih is quietly sinking into an existential crisis he hides from everyone. When a supernatural visitor suddenly appears to Melih, the entire family soon finds themselves haunted by the “ghosts” of abandoned dreams and alternate possibilities – literally. As Melih, Suzan & Toprak struggle with their seemingly earthly problems; the film intercuts with documentary style interviews from actual ghosts.
