A Japanese filmmaker born in 1993. A son of a longtime convenience store owner, Yusuke Iwasaki graduated from Keio University’s Faculty of Literature. His work as an advertorial director has been awarded numerous times. Specializes in dialogue-centered, static, and unconventional directing. In 2024, he wrote, directed and released his first short film, “Void”, selected for numerous festivals, including Rotterdam. “AnyMart” is his first feature film.
