Born in Pristina, Kosovo. He graduated in film direction from the Academy of Media Arts in Cologne, Germany, in 2010. He made several short films and the features “Father” (2015), exhibited at the 39th Mostra and for which he received the best director award at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, and “Exile” (2020), presented at the 44th Mostra and at film festivals such as Berlin and Sundance.
