

A Brazilian director and screenwriter with a career spanning over 20 years, she explores the boundaries between reality and storytelling, navigating across documentary and fiction. She holds a degree in Communication from the Federal University of Pernambuco and a specialization in Film Studies from the Catholic University of Pernambuco. Her background also includes short courses, including at the International Film and Television School (EICTV) in San Antonio de Los Baños, Cuba, and participation in various national and international screenwriting labs. After making several short films, she directed the documentary features “A Mesa Vermelha” (2013), “Iracemas” (2023), and “BuenosAires” (2025), as well as the fiction film “Black Amber” (2017), which was screened at the 41st Mostra. She also directed the series “Chabadabadá” (2024–) alongside Júlia Moraes and “Canto Delas” (2026) with Bruna Leite, in addition to an episode of “Cinéticas” (2025).
