

Writer, director, and producer born in New York, USA, in 1956. He began his career writing the screenplay for “The Cutting Edge” (1992) and currently has over 20 credits in this role. He was a screenwriter for films such as “The Devil’s Advocate” (1997), “State of Play” (2009), the “Bourne” trilogy (2002, 2004, 2007), “Rogue One” (2016), and the spin-off series “Andor” (2022–2025). His directorial debut “Michael Clayton” (2007) received seven Academy Awards nominations, including best picture, director, and original screenplay. As writer-director, he also made the feature “Duplicity” (2009) and “The Bourne Legacy” (2012).
