

Chilean filmmaker, he works primarily as a director, screenwriter, cinematographer, and image post-producer. He has participated in several residencies and labs, including the Locarno Filmmakers Academy, AustraLab, and La Fabrique Cinéma. He was the cinematographer for “El Verano del León Eléctrico” (2018), directed by Diego Céspedes, a short film that won first prize in the Cinéfondation at the Cannes Film Festival. His short film “Austral Fever” (2019) was awarded at San Sebastián and presented at film festivals such as Venice and Toronto. Thomas has collaborated in creative roles with multiple artists and directors, and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in film preservation at Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola in Spain. “Erratics” is his first feature film.
