

A British filmmaker, her work often combines observational documentary with performance film. She directed documentaries like “Over Your Cities Grass Will Grow” (2010), presented at the Cannes Film Festival, “Grace Jones: Bloodlight and Bami” (2017) and “Acting” (2024). With philosopher Slavoj Žižek, she made “The Pervert’s Guide to Cinema” (2006) and “The Pervert’s Guide to Ideology” (2012), both presented at the 36th Mostra, a trilogy that concludes with “The Pervert’s Guide to Utopias”. She also directed one of the segments of the anthology film “Hopper Stories” (2012, 37th Mostra). Her work has been exhibited in museums such as MoMA, in New York, the Reina Sofía Museum, in Madrid, and Hokkaido Museum of Modern Art, in Japan.
