A Portuguese filmmaker from Lisbon. He studied theater at Goldsmiths, University of London, and film at Columbia University in New York. He has written and directed several short films, including “The Trip” (2011), “Miami” (2014), and “Young Lady” (2016), screened at festivals such as Cannes, Palm Springs, and IndieLisboa. His first feature film, “Drifter” (2022), was presented at the 47th Mostra in 2023. He also directed the series “Vanda” (2022), screened at the Berlin International Film Festival, and works as a script consultant and mentor at Le Groupe Ouest/Less is More. “The Boatman” is his second feature film.
