

Spanish filmmaker Rodrigo Sorogoyen studied screenwriting at the School of Cinematography and Audiovisual of the Community of Madrid. He directed the feature films “Stockholm” (2013), “May God Save Us” (2016), “The Realm” (2018), “Mother” (2019), and “The Beasts” (2022), as well as the Oscar-nominated short film “Mother” (2017). In television, he co-created the miniseries “Riot Police” (2020) and “The New Years” (2024). His films have been screened and awarded at festivals such as Venice, San Sebastián, Málaga, and Tokyo, in addition to winning several Goya Awards.
