

A Cypriot filmmaker, she studied Film and Art History at Pratt Institute in New York before earning her MFA at NYU’s Tisch. She directed short films like “Semele” (2015), winner of the Jury Prize in the Generation section at the Berlin International Film Festival, and “Aria” (2017), presented at the Venice and Sundance film festivals. Beyond her filmmaking, Myrsini is the founder of the Sagapo Children’s Foundation, an international NGO dedicated to empowering underprivileged children through education and creative learning initiatives. “Hold Onto Me” is her first feature film.
