
A Brazilian filmmaker whose work explores the transformation of urban landscapes and the persistence of historical violence. He graduated in audiovisual arts from the School of Communications and Arts at the University of São Paulo (ECA–USP). He made, among others, the short films “Um, Dois, Três, Vulcão” (2012), “Salomão” (2013), “E” (2014), “The Golden Era” (2014), “The Castle” (2015), and “Comissão de Vendas” (2016), presented at film festivals such as Rotterdam, Toulouse, and Oberhausen and awarded at various film festivals in Brazil. The documentary “Banco Imobiliário” (2016) marked Ramos’s debut in feature film directing and was exhibited at the 40th Mostra. He also directed the feature “The Arrow and the Uniform” (2020).
