A Brazilian filmmaker whose work explores the transformation of urban landscapes and the persistence of historical violence. He made, among others, the short films “Um, Dois, Três, Vulcão” (2012), “Salomão” (2013), “E” (2014), “The Golden Era” (2014), “The Castle” (2015), and “Comissão de Vendas” (2016), and the feature films “Monopoly” (2016, 40th Mostra), “Filhos de Macunaíma” (2019), “The Arrow and the Uniform” (2020) and “The Voice of God” (2025, 49th Mostra). His films have been presented at festivals such as Rotterdam, Málaga, Toulouse and Oberhausen, and awarded at various festivals in Brazil.
