Michael Dweck, Gregory Kershaw

Michael Dweck is a visual artist and filmmaker known for his narrative photographic and film projects. He holds a degree in Fine Art from Pratt Institute. Earlier in his career, he worked as a highly regarded creative director. Dweck’s projects incorporate mediums ranging from film and sound to photography, painting, and sculpture, and have been featured in solo and group exhibitions at museums and galleries worldwide. His directorial debut, the feature documentary “The Last Race” (2018), was screened at the Sundance Film Festival. Gregory Kershaw is a filmmaker graduated from Columbia University’s prestigious MFA film directing program, where he wrote, directed, and lensed narrative films. Kershaw was previously a Senior Producer at Fusion, where he made numerous documentaries on global environmental issues. His work there was financed through a grant from the United Nations Foundation and focused on exploring the impact of climate change. Together, they directed “The Truffle Hunters” (2020), presented at festivals such as Cannes, San Sebastián, and Sundance, and nominated for the Academy Award for Best Documentary; and “Gaucho Gaucho” (2024, 48th Mostra), winner of the Special Jury Award for Sound at Sundance and the Piazza Grande Award at the Locarno Film Festival.
