

Author, screenwriter, and director, she graduated in Film and holds a Master’s Degree in Literature, Culture and Contemporaneity from PUC-Rio. She began her professional career alongside names such as Rosane Svartman, João Jardim, Antônio Carlos da Fontoura, and Bárbara Paz, with whom she collaborated on the award-winning documentary “Babenco: Tell Me When I Die” (2019, 43rd Mostra). Her work explores themes such as identity, memory, representation, and childhood, with a particular interest in working with children on screen. She directed the short films “No Escuro” (2009) and “A Casa Nova de Newton” (2017), screened at national and international festivals. “Clarice and the Stars” is her first feature film.
