He has a bachelor’s degree in film studies and completed a production management traineeship at X Filme Creative Pool in Berlin. He then worked as an assistant director before going on to direct his own short films, like “It’s Consuming Me” (2012); “Gay Goth Scene” (2013); “Golden” (2015); “Circle” (2018) and “Pace” (2019). “Trial of Hein” is his debut feature film and secured him a place in the Berlinale Talents Script Station and a Wolfgang Kohlhaase scholarship.
