
Franco-Brazilian artist, filmmaker, and writer, born in Recife. Since 2002, he has lived and worked between France and Brazil. He holds a master’s degree in photography and video from the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, completed a postgraduate residency at Le Fresnoy – Studio National des Arts Contemporains, and a PhD in Document and Contemporary Art at the École Européenne Supérieure de l’Image. His practice combines photography, film, video art, performance, writing, and theoretical research. He directed short films such as “Incidents in the Library” (2011), “La Double Coïncidence des Désirs,” (2013), and “Mal Di Mare/Seasick” (2021) and the feature film “The Birds Are Busy” (2016), screened and awarded at various international and Brazilian film festivals.
