

Born in Kraków in 1947. He started his career as an actor in the early 1970s and appeared in films such as “Camera Buff” (1979, 5th Mostra) and “Three Colors: White” (1994, 38th Mostra), both by Krzysztof Kieślowski. He directed feature films such as “Love Stories” (1997, 21st Mostra), “The Big Animal” (2000, 24th Mostra), “Tomorrow’s Weather” (2003, 28th Mostra) and “The Citizen” (2014, 39th Mostra). He was a member of the official jury of the 25th Mostra. Jerzy Stuhr died in Poland in 2024.
