Filmmaker born in Belgrade in 1984. She holds a degree in film editing from the University of Arts in Belgrade, and among her more than 70 credits as an editor are the films “You Have the Night” (2018, 43rd Mostra), “The Load” (2018, 42nd Mostra), and “Lost Country” (2023, 47th Mostra), in addition to titles screened at festivals such as Cannes, Locarno, Rotterdam, and Karlovy Vary. She directed the films “Taurunum Boy” (2018) and “Homelands” (2020), presented at Cinéma du Réel and FIDMarseille. In addition to her work in film, Maksimović has participated in multiple collaborations in the fields of video art, art installations, and theater performances.
