Born in Bellac, France, in 1974. He studied visual communication and works as a video artist, cinematographer, editor, and director. In addition to dozens of short films, he has directed features such as “A German Youth” (2015), “Summer Lights” (2016), and “Song for the Jungle” (2018). The Mostra has screened his short film “200000 Phantoms” (2007) and the features “Our Defeats” (2019), awarded in the Forum section at the Berlin International Film Festival; “Returning to Reims (Fragments)” (2021), presented in the Directors’ Fortnight at the Cannes Film Festival and winner of the César for Best Documentary; and “Facing Darkness” (2023), screened at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival.
