

A filmmaker born in Athens, Greece, in 1989. She studied at the London Film School and works with different textures, from her “native” hi8 to 16mm and digital, often merging them to portray the multidimensionality of the human experience. She directed short films such as “Fox” (2016), awarded at the Locarno Film Festival; “Hiwa” (2017), presented at the Berlin Film Festival; and “Hector Malot: The Last Day of the Year” (2018), awarded in the Critics’ Week at the Cannes Film Festival. Her first feature film, “Moon, 66 Questions” (2021) was presented at the 45th Mostra and in the Encounters section at Berlin. “A Day in the Life of Jo: Chapter Phaedra” is her second feature film.
