

Henrique Dantas is a director, screenwriter, and art director. Graduated in fine arts, he holds a master’s degree in visual arts from the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA). He directed, among others, the documentaries “The Sons of Joao, the Admirable New Baiano World” (2009) and “Signs of Gray. Olney’s Battle Against the Dragon of Evil” (2013), both screened at the Mostra and presented and awarded at festivals in Brazil, Poland, and Italy. He also directed the documentary “Dorivando Saravá, O Preto que Virou Mar” (2019) and the television series “A Bicicleta do Vovô” (2018) and “Seculares, O Mundo Há Mais de Cem” (2024).
