

Director, screenwriter, and producer, he founded Matizar Filmes. His documentaries “Fala Tu, Living Rap in Rio” (2003), “Fernando Lemos - Through the Image” (2005), “PQD - Brazilian Paratroopers” (2007), and “A Sunday with Frederico Morais” (2011), were screened at the Mostra and also at film festivals such as Berlin, Warsaw, and Cinéma du Réel. As a producer, he worked on films by Eduardo Coutinho, Marcelo Gomes, and Karim Aïnouz. In 2015, Guilherme was part of the Berlinale Talent Campus. He subsequently directed “Orphans of Eldorado” (2015, 39th Mostra) and “Lights On” (2020, 44th Mostra).
