
Born in Milan in 1963, he graduated in directing from the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome. Since then, he has been working as a screenwriter, director and producer. He directed, among others, “Mare Largo” (1998), “Ilaria Alpi – The Cruelest Day” (2002), “68 the Uthopia of Reality” (2007), “Zulu Meets Jazz” (2008), “A Moment of Silence” (2013, 37th Mostra) and “Vinodentro” (2014, 38th Mostra). With Marcello Fois and Diego De Silva, he wrote the screenplay of “A Children’s Story” (2004), which won the Fassbinder Award at the European Film Awards.
