A Barcelona-born filmmaker, Èlia is a Berlinale Talents and Film Independent fellow. She has worked as an editor and writer on documentaries and narrative films, including “The King” (2017), screened at the Cannes Film Festival, and “The Sit-In: Harry Belafonte Hosts The Tonight Show” (2020) and “The Rebellious Life of Mrs. Rosa Parks” (2022), both presented at Tribeca. She also edited the feature films “Icaros: A Vision” (2016) and “Son of Monarchs” (2020), screened at the 45th Mostra and awarded at Sundance. “The Hummingbird Paints Fragrant Songs”, co-directed with Matteo Norzi, is her directorial debut.
