

Director, screenwriter, and professor. He has collaborated on various projects with filmmaker Ruy Guerra, such as the story for the film “Oblivious Memory” (2015, 39th Mostra) and the adaptation of James Joyce’s play “Exiles” for the 2012 production directed by Guerra. This partnership was reflected in Diogo’s debut feature film, the experimental documentary “O Homem que Matou John Wayne” (2015), co-directed with Bruno Laet and starring Ruy; and continues with his second feature, “Time, Knifed”, based on an original story by Guerra. He directed episodes of the series “Memórias do Brasil” (2017–), the short film “Asa Real” (2024) and also writes lyrics for the USA-based band Fracktura, for whom he has made two music videos.
