Filmmaker and documentarist born in Manaus in 1952. His work highlights the Amazon and social issues. He has degrees in Architecture at the Universidade de Brasília and Performing Arts at the Escola de Artes Visuais do Parque Lage. He directed films such as “The Filmmaker of the Jungle” (1997), “Teatro Amazonas” (2002), and “Secrets from Putumayo” (2020), which won an award from APCA in 2022. He also worked on television and now lives in São Paulo.
