

Ana Rocha de Sousa is a Portuguese filmmaker. After establishing herself professionally as an actress in her home country, she completed a degree in painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon. She then moved to the UK, where she earned a master’s degree in film directing from the London Film School. Her first feature film, “Listen” (2020), was screened at the 45th Mostra and won the Best Debut Feature award and the Special Jury Prize in the Orizzonti section at the Venice Film Festival.
