

A filmmaker and photographer who was born in Ahvaz, Iran, in 1984. He began his career working as an assistant director for filmmakers such as Kianoush Ayyari and Rakhshan Banietemad. His works include the short films “The Idiot” (2007), “Two Cold Meals for One Person” (2009), and “Family Portrait” (2010), and the documentaries “Nature and Cities of Iran” (2013), “Wolf” (2018), and “Home” (2022). He directed the feature films “Temporary” (2015), presented at the Beijing International Film Festival, and “Two Dogs” (2020), presented at the Warsaw International Film Festival.
