A Finnish director and screenwriter, Alli holds a BA from Aalto University’s School of Film, Television and Scenography, and an MFA from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. Her credits include the feature films “Love and Fury” (2016) and “Girl Picture” (2022), which won the Audience Award at the Sundance Film Festival and screened at the Berlin International Film Festival; as well as the collective film “Force of Habit” (2019), co-written and directed by seven women. In 2022, she received the Finland Award, granted by the country’s Ministry of Education and Culture.
