The neighborhood Afogados, in the South region of the city of Recife, is driven by business activities. Among the rush, there is an alley with bars, that welcome many types of goers, workers and passers-by —these people build a simple and poetic portrait on the life in the suburb of the Northeast in Brazil, showing an abyss between a dominant elite and people who live at the society’s margin.
