Ernesto, a 70-year-old Uruguayan photographer living in Brazil, has been facing the limitations of old age —such as loneliness and the beginning of blindness, which he thinks can disguise. After the death of his wife, Ernesto began to occupy the silences with a LP, the phone calls of his distant son, visits to the bank to take his retirement, and the quick visits of neighbor Javier. But Bia, a careless dog-keeper, runs over his life and endangers his methodical routine. And Ernesto realizes that getting old can be rejuvenating with the intense company of a girl who isn`t even thirty years old.
