Vera is a fading actress who decides to pursuit a dream: she will direct a musical called Holy Beasts, from an unfinished script left by her friend, the Dominican filmmaker Jean-Louis Jorge (1947-2000). When she arrives in Dominican Republic, Vera reencounters the old friends Victor and Martin, who will work as producer and cinematographer. The filmmakers have fun in many social gatherings, but soon conflict and death start to haunt the film’s shooting.
