Alex is a teenager who is an 8th grader. He needs to deal with common drama in a teen’s life: the relationship with his stepbrother and stepfather, his crush on his colleague Jessica and the bullying that he suffers from Glenn at school. One day, Alex receives a curious gift from his uncle, who got back from Thailand: a ninja doll with checkered clothes. Soon, Alex finds out that the doll is alive, and the toy helps him to solve his day-to-day issues. But everything gets worse when the boy discovers that the doll is possessed by an ancient Japanese spirit who has a dark mission: to take revenge on Phillip Eppermint, who killed a child in Thailand.
