Inspired by true and recent events that took place in Japan, the film follows Erica, a 62-year-old woman who makes a living applying scams. When she is betrayed by a lover, Erica sees her life take a dark turn. She moves to Thailand and assumes a new personality: she pretends to be 38-year-old. There, she falls in love with a younger man, but the authorities are after her.
