Daniel Fisher is a war photographer who goes back to Australia, where his family lives. His wife is pregnant and, in addition to dealing with the anxiety of the arrival of a new baby, Daniel prepares an exhibition of his photos. In the middle of the preparations, he meets the refugee Sebastian in an awkward situation: he asks Daniel not to exhibit the images of his village’s massacre, which happened 15 years ago. From this unexpected request, a surprising friendship arises.
